    Hello,

I'm just a non-tech person who loves building websites with Wordpress. At first, I used shared hosts since it's kinda plug-and-play and easy for me. Then my websites got bigger, and I knew I have to take it to another level, so switching to VPS was a must.

NGINX has been my choice since the start and I have used several LEMP stack installers, including EasyEngine and other less popular scripts. Centminmod was considered but at that time I didn't have the basic knowledge to understand what was written in the resources page, and to be honest, I was overwhelmed by that wall of text. So I decided to go with the easier ones.

I forced myself to learn a bit more, and now, after spending time reading about Centminmod I think it would be my go-to choice from here and would like to put it on my latest server.

I'm still a noob. Hope everyone helps!

    Hi David,

I also started with EasyEngine but when version 4 introduced Docker into the mix, I felt it was time to look elsewhere.

One of the things I've noticed with auto installers is a lack of documentation. Centmin Mod's "wall of text" is actually incredibly thorough documentation. I honestly don't know how our benefactor finds the time but I'm grateful for it. Out of the box, it performs very well so you don't need to immediately dig into the many available options. But, once you're ready, its there and ready for you.

Agree, now to me Centminmod is great and its documentation is really helpful :D But when I still was a low-tech person and didn't know any line of code I was so scared to look at the documentation. It took me hours just to figure out how to connect via SSH and change the SSH keys :D After getting the basics and now looking at the docs I thinks its great!
