    As part of the community introductions, what are you folks using or intending to use Centmin Mod for ?

    For myself, I have around 20 servers.
    • 2x dedicated running Centmin Mod
    • 15x VPS servers running Centmin Mod
    • 3x VPS servers running WHM/Cpanel
    (using Centmin Mod rather than WHM/Cpanel saves me = (2x$32x12) + (15x$15x12) = US$3,468 per year ! :eek::cool: )

    Predominant use is for the following scripts:

    Dedicated server with 3xXF forums, a WP blog and a prestashop store.

    Constantly spinning up DO droplets to play about with though.

    I also use it to set up customer servers, as it means they don't need to waste money on Cpanel licences.

    Just an xenForo forum. I used to have another VPS with WHMCS (a billing system) on it, but I'm done with that.

    Currently I'm using it with a 4vcpu 1gb ram VPS that I host a few WordPress installations on. I wanted to try my hand at self hosting and I've loved it so far. For me I'm using it as a learning experience, even though the Linux stuff can be confusing it's rewarding when you can figure out how to make things work.

    re-reading my first post in this thread got me thinking how much money I'll save using Centmin Mod instead of WHM/Cpanel VPS licenses for the next 12 months.

    17x VPS serves currently run Centmin Mod with 3x new VPS spun up this week also using Centmin Mod = 17 + 3 = 20x VPS servers.

    Cpanel VPS license is US$14.95/month x 20 = US$299/month saved x 12 months = US$3,588 per year saved ! :eek: :D

    Only have 1 dedicated server running Centmin Mod now, so that is US$32/month for Cpanel dedicated license = 32 x 12 = US$384 per year

    Grand total saved over 12 months = 3588 + 384 = US$3,972 per year :D

    for me latest project is the new cluster of Centmin Mod VPS servers for centminmod.com :)

    You know when Centmin Mod is starting to get more popular when a lot of porn and adult web sites start using it to power their servers :LOL: Huge increase in referral traffic from porn sites initial new Nginx vhost index.html place holder page :D

    Also see Centmin Mod popularity increase when I start to bump into Centmin Mod users online on other web sites and communities :D :cool:

    I setup once and managed one porn site that use Centmin :D.
    having pretty large visitors 5K+ per seconds.
