FYI nginx and php-fpm for Centmin Mod still use init.d so service nginx restart/status etc work

For RamNode CentOS 7.0 default minimal template looks like problem was my end as Centmin Mod script mounts /tmp on tmpfs while default CentOS 7 minimal template doesn't mount /tmp on tmpfs. So with 512MB CKVM VPS with only 512MB memory default tmpfs space is limited.

For CentOS 7 i should skip trying to make /tmp on tmpfs for low memory systems

 

you need to log out of initial SSH session after initial install and log back in for them to work

This test was done on 2GB Vultr Chicago VPS

Another run .08 beta01 with CentOS 7.0 and newly added official MariaDB 10.x YUM repo for CentOS 7 + newly added yum update for initial installs. Does add ~200 seconds to total YUM install times but you get latest system packages as well in light of the bash vulnerability.

This was done on DigitalOcean 512MB VPS in San Francisco to check .08 beta on CentOS 6.5 64bit

confirmed that the ngx_pagespeed 1.9.32.1 beta workaround to disable ngx_pagespeed out of the box is working as pagespeedadmin.conf has the added pagespeed off; variable

edit: doh looks like pscontrol file isn't working it doesn't turn on/off ngx_pagespeed only prints out the command to restart nginx might be to do with cmservice function used for CentOS 7 interferring

doh my mistake, I had CMSDEBUG=y in /usr/bin/pscontrol and /usr/local/nginx/conf/pscontrol files, if debug mode is enabled, it only prints the nginx restart command not actually execute the command
