i run through the tutorial offered by you, migrating and everything is ok. i make a check on ssl checker and it seems pretty good:

Did you use centmin.sh menu option 2 or 22 (wordpress auto installer) ? If you used centmin.sh menu option 2, then you need to setup nginx wordpress rules in your nginx vhost yourself. If you used centmin.sh menu option 22, wordpress nginx rules and optimally configured for performance and security with selection of caching options you can choose from keycdn cache enabler (recommended), redis nginx level cache and wordpress super cache plugin.

You can see basic wordpress setup generated vhost via official nginx vhost generator at Generate Centmin Mod Nginx Vhost - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS select from drop down menu = wordpress. It's very basic and doesn't have all the advanced optimisations as centmin.sh menu option 22 i.e. automatic rate limiting for wp-login.php, xmlrpc.php and other commonly attacked php files.

Might want to post your nginx vhost config files - ultimately configuration is up to you though. If you want working wordpress best to have used centmin.sh menu option 22 instead of 2 as menu option 22, auto installs and configures wordpress to optimal performance and security.

When you create a new nginx vhost domain via centmin.sh menu option 2 or menu option 22 or via /usr/bin/nv cli command line, you will create the Nginx vhost files and directories. You will get an outputted the path location where it will create the domain name's vhost conf file named newdomain.com.conf (and newdomain.com.ssl.conf if you selected yes to self signed SSL)

Nginx vhost conf path will be at /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/newdomain.com.conf

Nginx HTTP/2 SSL vhost conf path will be at /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/newdomain.com.ssl.conf

Nginx Self-Signed SSL Certificate Directory at /usr/local/nginx/conf/ssl/newdomain.com

Vhost public web root will be at /home/nginx/domains/newdomain.com/public

Vhost log directory will be at /home/nginx/domains/newdomain.com/log

if you created nginx vhost with letsencrypt lived https it will default to /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/usa2eg.com.ssl.conf
302 http to https redirect needs fixing see centminmod.com/nginx_domain_dns_setup.html#httpsredirect

otherwise you'll get redirect loop

key to testing is using 302 temp redirect first in a private incognito browser session otherwise the problems you can experience may end up being due to browser caching or 301 permanent redirects unless you clear browser cache and reboot local computer(s) and even then some web browsers don't let go of 301 permanent redirect browser cache that willingly

You can test in SSH via curl to check headers for location field (where the redirect goes) using the following commands:

from your previous errors at Letsencrypt - ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT ensure all wordpress files properly uploaded with correct nginx user/group permissions

also check access.log

and contents for /usr/local/nginx/conf/autoprotect/usa2eg.com/autoprotect-usa2eg.com.conf

If on Centmin Mod 123.09beta01, you may have ran into the new tools/autoprotect.sh cronjob feature outlined at Beta Branch - autoprotect.sh - apache .htaccess check & migration to nginx deny all | Centmin Mod Community You uploaded scripts may have .htaccess deny from all type files in their directories which may need bypassing autoprotect. It's a security feature that no other nginx based stack has as far as I know

Nginx web servers do not support Apache web server .htaccess files. So any web application which relies on .htaccess to protect directories will be fully open to the public on Nginx web servers unless your Nginx vhost config file has specific location directory matches to deny and/or password protect them.

tools/autoprotect.sh runs via cronjob and basically checks entire Centmin Mod LEMP stack server's Nginx vhost site's public web accessible directories for .htaccess files that exist. Then grabbing their directory path to .htaccess file and auto generating an Nginx equivalent location match and deny all setup.

So instead, all .htaccess 'deny from all' detected directories now get auto generated Nginx equivalent location match and deny all setups except if you want to manually bypass the directory from auto protection via a .autoprotect-bypass file - details below here.

You can read a few threads below on how autoprotect.sh may have caught some folks web apps falsely and the workarounds or improvements made to autoprotect.sh with the help of users feedback and troubleshooting.

the last location context located in your autoprotect vhost include file at /usr/local/nginx/conf/autoprotect/usa2eg.com/autoprotect-usa2eg.com.conf gives as a clue, you have mistakenly uploaded wordpress files in /wp-content/wp-content which may cause problems if your wordpress site is meant to be at domain.com index. You probably have other files uploaded in wrong place too.

in error log it seems that it reads pages generated by wordpress as folders, thats what i'm thinking, waiting for ur opinion

oh re-reading your vhost you haven't uncommented try_files line for permalinks

i have removed the comment sign, restarted nginx and php-fpm, still same result. i realized that in error log that it want to read index file from this path:

/home/nginx/domains/usa2eg.com/public/2-1/index.php
while it should be this path

how can i change this ?

what url did you install wordpress on domain.com/ or domain.com/2-1/ ?

for wordpress specific issues like this you'd have to figure it out yourself as it's an app issue not really server issue

Usually, if you installed wordpress via centmin.sh menu option 22, wp-cli command would of been installed so you could check output for these commands changing /home/nginx/domains/domain.com/public/ to the path to where you installed wordpress i.e. if domain.com/blog then it would be /home/nginx/domains/domain.com/public/blog

wp option get siteurl --allow-root
wp option get home --allow-root
and with wp-cli can change directories i.e. Wordpress - centmin.sh menu option 22 - How to switch Wordpress to subdirectory

or just check wordpress wp-admin site and home url settings
