sequential is nice, but real performance indicator is random writes and random disk i/o (ioping and IOPs)

I just created a Linode, it recommends using a 64 bit. But, they are only offering CentOS 7 for 64.. go that route and start on CentOS7 or get 6.5 on a 32 bit installation?

I'll be converting a 500K vB forum to Xenforo on this server and running it from there.

I don't see a 64 bit CentOS 6.5 version to select though.. or is the "Older Distributions" actually 64 bit and the list heading is just bad formatting?

Linode only has 64bit versions for CentOS so listed older ones are 64bit
