   How to properly remove the IP restriction of admin stats and just put it behind password protected/add basic nginx auth?

   ngx_pagespeed is meant for ip restriction from their docs. Otherwise, you'd have to edit each of the location matches for ip restrictions in pagespeedhandler.conf with password protected directories similar to directory password protection at Nginx - How to properly password protect a directory or file? and Can't protect a folder using python script
