I am doing some performance testing and I noticed this message popping up.
Do I need to do this myself?
I tried changing my php version to 5.5.x and 5.6.x and still get the same error...

To troubleshoot, after php upgrades you need to check the the php upgrade log at /root/centminlogs and instructions under Sharing logs and errors heading for using Pastebin.com or Gists to share a sanitised version of the contents of the initial install log. You can see full details at How to troubleshoot Centmin Mod initial install issues

On this machine I just installed centminmod and tried updating the php version to 5.5.x.
Once I saw the errors, and poking around some, I tried updating to 5.6.x without zend opcache...
    Still had problems....

I will get log files soon....

    Thanks!
