   I keep reading a lot about imagemin and converting images to webp formats.
   Is there a guide as to how to install it on centmin?
   Is it worth doing?

   no guide but official docs at imagemin/imagemin
   
   For webp conversion I use my own optimise-images.sh batch conversion too centminmod/optimise-images

   But not needed if you use Cloudflare in front of Centmin Mod Nginx - then webp is on the fly converted for supported web browsers

   I think I'm going to need to look at it, because the webp image processing is only on pro and above at $20 per month,
