XF 2 and homepage

    Hey,

    1. When will CMM make the switch to XF 2.1?

    2. All these years something bothered me and I will finally address it. When I am surfing on the forums, how can I go back to the homepage?

    The navigation of the homepage allows us to visit the forum:

    Whereas the navigation of the forum doesn't allow us to go back to the homepage.

    Did I miss something all these years? :D

    clicking Centmin Mod logo goes to home page for forums ;) but yeah centminmod.com there's a link in sidebar under About Centmin Mod

    XF 2.1 still testing and waiting for addons to mature :)

    Ahhh, right. Well, every link on the sidebar goes to a link on the forums, except for this one:

    I didn't even realize until now that the first word is a link and it redirects you to the homepage. Well, in my humble opinion you should put the homepage link somewhere on the navigation, but maybe save it for XF 2.1.


    I see, well, it would be nice to have push notification. What addon are you missing for XF 2.1 if I may ask? Or what one needs to mature more? I think you can pretty much upgrade the site without a problem. The only concern I would have is that my bookmarks get imported as a user. From an admin point of view it looks like there are for every addon you use an equivalent in 2.1. I'd like to know which one you are waiting for, if it is okay to ask.

    There's a few I am waiting on, but it's also the fact I need time to test on test copy of the forums too the upgrade process etc. Time I don't have much spare of lately, with latest cpanel price rise and need to work on cpanel to Centmin Mod importer and learning DirectAdmin control panel for client migrations :)

    I see. Yeah, the cpanel price rise is a gift and a curse for you I believe. CMM will get more popular and at the same time it means more work for you, so less time free.

    Well, I am waiting for the day CMM is gonna be priced aswell. Too good to be true that so far it is free.
