Now joins the CentOS/Centmin Mod family.
Think I've pretty much got it all done. Just waiting on the SSL cert so I can get them back to https from http - then I've got to set up a few more sites on there... but I may just create another VPS for the other guy that was being hosted there.

    Awesome (y)

No wonder why had issues going to https version of XenAdmins

hope the SSL certificate is using SHA-2 signatures and not SHA-1 Chrome browser 39+ sunsetting SHA-1 SSL signatures ;)

yeah best to isolate sites to separate VPS if not the same owner as server as Centmin Mod doesn't have jailed chrooted user features yet

Yep... Chrome was causing me headaches also.... kept insisting on loading the https site (which is disabled) until I cleared the cache on it via the settings page.
Comodo PositiveSSL. Same one I'm using at Now Serving Linux
Seeing as it's Jeremy (XenForo moderator) it would be pretty safe to have them both on the same one... but it's less of a headache for me just to set him up his own VPS (even though I have to go through all the mail setup crud - dovecot, opendkim, etc).

ah see on your site SHA256 so all is good on that front :)

Yeah browsers cache 301 permanent redirects which most of of used for http to https redirect for Centmin Mod, so need to clear browser caches - unfortunately folks who don't know this will still see an error page.

Luckily it will only be for about a day.... I've already got the SSL stuff in the vhost - just have to install the certs when I get it then service nginx restart. :)
Just so happened that the cert email for re-issue came to Lisa while I was out eating with my wife... and by the time we came back in Lisa had apparently already went to bed.

Nope... it's a cPanel specific issue... they are different for some reason. You have to have the cert issued in an Apache Mod-SSL format to work with nginx/apache.

Ah that explains it then. While I love Cpanel for set and forget ease of use, liking Centmin Mod Nginx structure more and more (of course I am biased heh)
