Wordpress wp and installed plugins

    Fresh stable install today. Installed a Wordpress site and holy cow the plugins that are automatically installed...
    I've been searching docs and forum but not finding where I can change the list of plugins that get installed during Wordpress site creation. Am I supposed let them install then remove them later?

    Isn't it just Akismet if you're manually installing Wordpress?

    You could try deleting the folder from /wp-content/plugins/ before running the installer. But if you're talking about the auto-installer that comes from the CMM menu, I'm not sure about that one.

    Using 123.08stable or 123.09beta01's centmin.sh menu option 22 ?

    123.09beta01 has a new various WPPLUGINS_ALL='n' to disable all those extra wp plugins 123.08stable installs by default due to user feedback and request. If you enable WPPLUGINS_ALL='y' in persistent config file /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc, you enable the plugins listed at centminmod/wpsetup.inc at 15f1b75657c3a4a2b90aa02d70ee8be879c20fc5 · centminmod/centminmod · GitHub

    If you haven't setup a production wordpress install yet or on test server, just install 123.09beta01 on fresh CentOS 7 install to get the best version of centmin mod and leaner centmin.sh menu option 22 wordpress installer out of the box.

    Thanks, I'll wipe it and use the beta branch.
    Any plans to make WPPLUGINS_ALL='y' optionally WPPLUGINS_ALL='sucuri-scanner,disable-xml-rpc,etc' ?

    no plans right now as security is important

    but with 123.09beta01 you can further customise centmin.sh menu option 22 installs and programatically remove selected wp plugins too amongst other stuff like installing own themes and languages etc Wordpress - How to customise Wordpress centmin.sh menu option 22 installs in 123.09beta01
