I know @eva2000 loves his CLI and I'm sure CMM gets some or a lot of speed increase from being a purely CLI app.

But I've been playing around with other services such as Moss.sh, ServerPilot, and RunCloud.io and really like how these offer a simple web interface to do things like add vhosts, upgrade PHP, configure firewall rules, configure SSH keys, etc. They don't come anywhere near what other panels do like cPanel but allow someone like me who isn't 100% verse in the command line to setup a server quick and easy.

Sure I could use them instead of CMM, but I really like what has been done with CMM and how well it's put together. I just think it would be amazing if there was a paid service offered that was similar to the above services that used the awesome power on the backend that is known as CMM.

    Thanks for the feedback :)

Yeah I wouldn't rule out a GUI for Centmin Mod just it wouldn't be something on the books for near future. It would be something long way into future as
    1. Focus on getting feature set in Centmin Mod beta and beyond were I want it - still plenty to do first so essentially I am time restricted as I only work on Centmin Mod in my spare time. Imagine what I could do with Centmin Mod if this was a full time job ! Alot more donations and premium memberships would be required for such :)
    2. I personally don't have coding chops for web GUI and the added security and best practices for a GUI interface. I know a few Centmin Mod users are playing with coding their own web GUI
some of that is available already in shell based menu centmin.sh Centmin Mod Menu - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS

It could be just me but IMO, I think it should stay as is. If you want a GUI, use cPanel or some other control panel. If this even adds a potential security related problem, then I'd rather have two separate versions of CMM.

I only tried ServerPilot several times and it's not optimize.
Just an automated pure stock LEMP.

Which exactly why I titled this the way I did. I don't expect everyone to be a huge fan of this as I know many love their CLI. That's cool.

With that said I don't want cPanel because their is way to much junk, I would guess a good 90% I don't need or want. There is a MASSIVE difference between cPanel and say RunCloud or Moss.sh (give it a try they offer a free trial). They offer a simple interface to quickly add and remove sites, perform upgrades, configure firewall rules, add SSL certs, create databases and apply ssh keys.

Exactly... to my knowledge none of the ones I've tried (ServerPilot, Moss, or RunCloud) are not optimized or certainly not to the level of CMM. Just imagine if ServerPilot and CMM hooked up and had a baby - it would be epic!

Barebones, simple - yet highly effective and efficient GUI -- this ties directly in to my reply to @Jon Snow. I don't know of any GUI offering that's a useful barebones and optimized platform.

CMM wins hands down every time when it comes to performance. I'm just suggesting, albeit against the grain of many others I'm sure, that a little GUI interface to make some of these tasks easier would be awesome. As well as another source of income for @eva2000. Most of these services charge $10-20 a month.

Yeah most of GUI provided services do charge some form of monthly fee. So there's that consideration too.

@eva2000, for your reading pleasure: RunCloud.io on Indie Hackers - not bad for someone that started less than a year ago. ;)

Looks like RunCloud has ruffled some feathers with their "maintenance" window yesterday that included removing some features out of the pro version and upped the price as well.

Understandable given the reality that they already stated they weren't making enough to cover their own wages. So price increases would be an eventuality really.

I've used Runcloud as a paying user for months, decent product, certainly not optimized for performance, but it works.

Support is horrible, and I mean baddddddddddddddddd enough that I cancelled, don't mind paying for the service, but when you need support and get stupid answers and replies, it is beyond frustrating.
