    DigitalOcean has an old article outlining reasons why you may not want to run your own locally hosted @domain.com email services from your server and they do a much better job explaining the specifics than what I've been saying.     Running your own @domain.com email server requires much higher server resource requirements and much more time consuming even if you know what you're doing - especially for anti-virus/malware scanning and protection and anti-spam management.

    Sorry couldn't help it, although I couldn't agree more as i've tried it in the past and it was nightmare.
