I can't wrap my head around the value with them. I guess I run different types of websites than what those might be used for.

They have excellent performance to price ratio for low end VPSes. I have like 8x VPS with them (some yearly 128MB VPS with 30-40% discounts which come to US$14-17/year - yes 1 year!) :)

That would be good to make your own little DNS cluster

Sorry to say that but i think something is wrong with the Centminmod.....

I am already using on a few servers Centminmod without any problems and now i have a problem....

Ok it is a test server and i do not care but i am afraid to use it in a production server now :(

I just get the vps and install the Centminmod.

Then i create a vhost (menu option 2) using my domain and i disable nsd (service nsd stop and chkconfig nsd off) as i do not host my own nameservers and i use godaddy nameservers and an A record entry.

That's it nothing more nothing less :)

Now the problem is that sometimes when i use the domain i am getting server not found and at the same time i can ssh to the server and even open phpmyadmin as i use my ip there....

Then after a few minutes i can use my domain without any problem !

Every few minutes is going down and then up for a few minutes ......

I disable also the firewall using csf -x

    Crazy !!!!!

Do not install nsd, I also encounter this before on version .05 when nsd is installed.

If i am not wrong you can't avoid installation and the only option is to disable it before installation using NSD_DISABLED=y

Looks like the new OpenVZ and KVM plans and pricing are up and looks good for 1GB VPS just enough for CentOS 7 VPS server hosting and 4 cpu cores too !
