So who here has Centmin Mod installed on a dedicated server ?

    Who's the web host ?

What's the dedicated server specifications ?

I currently have 2 dedicated servers with Centmin Mod .07 beta release installed on them.

http://www.databasebydesignllc.com (used for past 24 months canceling soon as no longer need an East coast USA based location)
    • Intel Xeon E3-1270v1
    • 16GB
    • 2x1TB SATA
    • 10TB
    • CentOS 6.5 64bit
http://versaweb.com (used for past 7 months - my ideal location on West coast USA, Las Vegas)
    • Intel Xeon E3-1240v3
    • 32GB
    • 250GB SSD
    • 200Mbps dedicated line <-- ample bandwidth :)
    • CentOS 6.5 64bit

Off topic, but Versaweb has a great deal (y)(y)
Very close to bet OVH/SoYouStart offers :)

I'm tempted to purchase one, since 99% of my user's came from Asia/Philippines.

    Thanks for the link @eva2000

I've also set up and have access to this one for someone:
    upload_2014-5-28_14-6-34.png
Same spec as mine and @RoldanLT 's, but slightly faster CPU and hardware raid.

    I'm jealous! :D

If it is still under development server, can you confirm Headless VNC Install work on that server?
I might want to revert my dedicated box to a minimal os.

If you follow Floren's VNC guide make sure after all the steps are done and BEFORE you reboot, that you check the
/boot/grub/menu.lst and /boot/grub/grub.conf symlink is intact. For whatever reason, the steps in Floren's guide after they are done, break my symlink so on reboot CentOS is looking at /boot/grub/grub.conf and not /boot/grub/menu.lst and they don't have the sed replaced values in them like they do in menu.lst. Or just work from the grub.conf file instead of the menu.lst in the first place.

I tried it many times, I always fail on my other server at OVH itself.
It's my old dedicated server that I'm not using anymore, I can even give you the dedicated box login if you want to try.

Unfortunately, not much time right now... just make sure to check contents of /boot/grub/menu.lst and /boot/grub/grub.conf match after you done the outlined steps and BEFORE you reboot the server

Never used OVH, but isn't that screenshot just asking which hard drives you want mounted prior to proceeding with installation ? You'd want both mounted so you can configure then during install. And well just remember you can always just redo the install a 2nd time if you mess up, so do not worry about making mistakes :)
