BlueSky PDS

Before I go off and waste a bunch of time, has anyone successfully setup a personal data server (PDS) for BlueSky that works along with NGINX that's already running a production site with Centminmod?

I've seen a bunch of guides about the reverse proxy route with NGINX, but I just wanted to ask around here first to see what others have done already (if at all).

In summary, the goal would be to integrate the PDS into an existing production environment that's running Centminmod/NGINX, using the TLD for the BlueSky page and users, eg: user.domain.tld. We don't want to setup a 2nd level domain where it winds up being user.sub.domain.tld
