    Hello,
Looking for help in determining which hosting company to go with. I have lost about 80% of my google adsense revenue and have to down size from a dedicated server to a vps to stop the bleeding. Of the 4 hosts suggested in this thread: DigitalOcean - Linode - Vultr - Benchmarks - Upcloud - 13-Way VPS Server Benchmark Comparison Tests - Upcloud vs DigitalOcean vs Linode vs Vultr vs Hetzner what is the best way to go when using Centmod?

    Thanks,
    Itworx4me

I might be bias but.. Linode. Even @eva2000 uses it for this forum. I think now, if you plan to use their server to send mail, you'll have to contact them because new servers are blocked from doing it (like what Vutr did).

Out of the 4, the only one I've never used is Hetzner.

For all VPS providers I benchmark, it's usually ones I use myself with Centmin Mod :)

Don't count to much on benchmarks.

Because VPS server bench results can be influenced by busy neighbors. Benchmarks don't say much. The one host at provider A that is quieter will perform better than the exact same host at provider B.

If your project grows you can easily upgrade to a higher level for less than the cost of a European meal.

    The well-known VPS server providers:
DigitalOcean, Linode and Vultr will be able to serve you easily.

Analyze your analytics and see where most visitors come from.
Then choose a provider who can deliver to that location or as close as possible.

I have read many benchmarks from this forum !
Vultr is not the first choice but I'm still on it!

Easy to join and easy to use, that's all for my new sites!
Still learning other VPS so maybe change to other providers after growing!

My suggestion is don't waste time on this, just choose those well knoe providers as you wish,
there is nothing different if there is no special requirement for your website!

I've been with UpCloud for atleast a year now and had no issues! Solid Uptime and Performance.
