    Still using SecureSSH client mentioned in 1st post of this thread myself :) So what are folks using now ?

    I tried Putty after over decade of not using it and not my cup of tea but realised default window size isn't great for Centmin Mod usage. Folks who use Putty would do better with window settings of 160 columns, 70 rows and 256000 scrollback buffer ;)

    Just upgraded my SecureCRT/SecureFX apps to latest versions 8.1.x. Had an issue with older version creating SSH public keys within SecureCRT kept saying private key is invalid format for logging into Linode CentOS 7 VPS. Updated apps, and no problems with the ssh public keys :)

    I am using XShell and sometimes XFTP. I do PHP app development, so I use PHPStorm for file transfers.

    Any specific reason you switched from WinSCP?

    Slower and the best thing on Filezilla is the Bookmark feature.

    @RoldanLT @pamamolf

    With Xshell5, I have multiple sessions open. I heard that you can run a command and have all open sessions run it without having to do it one by one. Where do I enter the command to globally run it on all active sessions?

    And is it alright to switch between tabs of open sessions while making database backups or upgrading PHP/MySQL/Nginx like I'd assume? Just to be safe and have nothing disrupted.

    Yes, just always use "screen" for that.
