    To update my own personal usage, I currently have 90 servers of which 1 is dedicated and 89 are vps servers. Of those 89 vps servers, 4 are cpanel based and 85 are Centmin Mod LEMP stack based - I eat my own dog food so to speak :D

    Doing the calculations, instead of cpanel and using Centmin Mod LEMP has saved me:
    • 1x dedicated cpanel license US$32/month x 12 = US$384/yr
    • 85x vps cpanel licenses US$14.95/month x 12 = US$1,270.75/m x12 = US$15,249/yr
    • That's a total of US$1,302.75/month x 12 = US$US$15,633 per year saved in licensing fees using Centmin Mod LEMP web stack :cool::eek::D

    For my xenforo forum - Pijani Tvor
    But, still learning and can not move my files from old server to this new centos centmin server which I created yesterday.
    I am totally lost and don't know where to upload my files (forum xenforo files), but also server admin on old server still refuse to enable me shell access to move my files directly from old server to new

    I''m using it for my one dedicated server with 6 XenForo sites.

    I'm not in it to save on cPanel costs. Didn't mind at all paying for cPanel, but I got tired of waiting for Easyapache to have http/2 and PHP7 while @Matt and @eva2000 had the blistering sites with all of that and more. So I enlisted Matt's help and am glad to be here enjoying the good times :).

    pretty much one of my driving motivations for developing Centmin Mod LEMP stack - basically there's technology I want to use and want it sooner rather than later. Doesn't hurt to tweak it to my needs too :D

    Using it on two VPS'
    Hosting IPS 4.x, WordPress, HTML only site, self-coded php site using laravel framework :D
    Personally, saved me alot of time to setup things, I have once used cPanel/WHM but that only caused errors for some reasons so I decided to not use any CP.

    nice.. haven't used Laravel myself probably because not much of php coder beyond just doing install guide for Centmin Mod + Laravel Install Laravel 5 on Nginx - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS :)

    Hello,
    I am returning to Centmin Mod for a solution, not truly a replacement for some of my needs.
    As far as myself. I have hundreds of servers and help maintain thousands. I helped to build a datacenter in Mexico - Datacenter Build | Facebook and I know help work / admin a datacenter in Las Vegas.

    I have customers that require 10k + hits a second and building out these different solutions and tweaking, and harding, and so one while working just has become a pain, Yes we use fabric and pxe for many of our automation and cookie cutter projects; but I needed something more.
    Centmin Mod is that answer, so far on different tests the Centmin Mod systems are killing everything.

    Example One.

    Dell C-6100
    Dual Xeon L5520
    48GB ’s RAM
    1 x 250 GB Crucial 550MX SSD
    Centos 6.6
    Centmin Mod
    Wordpress test site/install

    4000 Reqs/Per Second 0 Errors.


    VPS Server In house.
    Xen VPS
    4GB’s RAM
    4 CPU’s 2.9GHz
    RAID 10 Crucial 550MX 1TB SSD
    Centos 6.6
    Centmin Mod
    Wordpress test site/install

    8000 Reqs/Per second 0 Errors.

    I see a lot of talk about cPanel, with you guys what do you use for your mail servers, plus Centmin Mod is not a platform for shared hosting. ( Yet? :) )

    For now I only test centmin mod - but are very excited about the coming LE work from @eva2000. For now I'm using it on a closed test enviroment, but later I intent to use centmin mod on one or two linodes. One for my XF forum for model train enthusiasts and the other for hosting of all the familys static/dynamics html pages etc.

    wow seems like more and more porn/adult content sites are using Centmin Mod this month !
