Monitoring - We've mitigated a large DoS attack in Dallas, which has resolved the Website, Manager, and API connectivity issues. We'll continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as necessary.

well on the possible bright side is this may force Linode to looking into DDOS protection for the network and/or as an offered service. Fingers crossed

 

well the attack has gone above Linode to their upstream provider Linode - Connectivity Issues - Dallas | Centmin Mod Community so even Linode is at the mercy of their upstream's ability to deal with DDOS attack
