    And I discovered this after I migrated all but one of my sites off Vultr. But hey, at least I'm paying a portion of what I was before by now using SSD Nodes!

    These new Vultr CPU’s are really making me consider migrating to them from Linode.

    Yeah having a guarantee on cpu type does make it enticing :) Though for me Linode storage/data transfer/backup/snapshot speed is what keeps me where I am.

    Good points! Also, I forget that Vultr doesn't have an IP Swap feature like Linode does. I know you can reserve and IP with Vultr, but that's $3/month and you have to configure it yourself. I think I'll just stick with Linode and envy having one of those Skylake CPU's.

    Guess only way to know if one server/cpu is faster is to actually test your web app usage
