Yeah they apparently have fast Xeon E3-12xx servers in play but when they launched they had a few serious security issues with customers automatically logging into other customers accounts and seeing their details. That put me off using them even if they have double credit promo.

Cheap isn't enough to alleviate my security concerns !

wow 10Gbps connectivity is an attractive feature especially for folks with alot of data to transfer in/out. Of course you'd need the source and/or destination server to also have such connectivity to really be useful :)

Well gave into temptation, signed up to Vultr with US$100 deposit so get US$200 total funding via the promo to match the desposit. Should give me ample funds for testing Centmin Mod on Vultr as well.

Getting expensive this is  :D

Setting up Vultr Affiliate code to offset costs http://www.vultr.com/?ref=6806205 :D

Basically, a more updated package set and versions and improved Linux UEK Kernel version of Redhat/CentOS using same YUM package manager :)

Also improved TCP performance in Oracle Linux 6.x :)

More info on Oracle Linux UEK kernels https://blogs.oracle.com/linux/entry/announcing_the_unbreakable_enterprise_kernel and https://blogs.oracle.com/linux/entry/announcing_oracle_linux_6_5

Linode VPS already taking advantage of same Linux 3.x kernel improvements that Oracle Linux 6.x UEK kernels have.

which location is this? some of their location are unreliable like Atlanta and Los Angeles as far as uptime is concerned.

But back to your experience, I never encountered that. I currently have an instance in Chicago.
