    Hello everyone,

    When i run the cminfo top command, it says like that;

    Code (Text):
    top 10 processes' virtual memory size (VmSize/VSZ)

    I'm using the xenforo with elasticsearch (so xenforo enhanced search product) also using the redis cache features. But i worry and interested that java memory usage looks like very high, am i wrong?

    P.S: My webserver has about 64GB Ram and TOTAL 32 Core Intel CPU. Forum Total threads about 700K, 7M Post and db size about 13 GB) If java hurts my RAM, so i can switch to standart search feature on forum. Because, our users don't use the search function often.

    Virtual Memory is different from used memory (RSS) see the explanation links linked to
    It's normal for Virtual memory to be high due to what it includes.
    FYI, only time you need to keep a closer eye on VSZ virtual memory is with OpenVZ VPS as it countds VSZ as used memory unlike non-OpenVZ VPS i.e. Xen, KVM and bare metal servers
