    I think it's 329 packages installed.
    Then after Centminmod I got 590 I think.

    When My SYS server after centminmod and so many others I installed like java, elasticsearch.
    I only have 520 packages.

    depends Centmin Mod .08 beta installs a few more packages than .07 stable too

    just do a side by side compare against the yum list installed outputted packages on SYS and Versaweb

    My SYS server and the versaweb uses the same Centmin version.

    And usually unzip, wget and nano is not included on minimal install, but it's already there so I assume it's full setup.

    honestly doesn't really matter in grand scheme of things if you compare the list of installed packages you should be able to decide what is ok and/or remove unneeded yum packages if you want.

    also some packages might be driver related for a specific web hosts server hardware configuration too ;)

    It takes 24 hour / a day to have a server re-installed with a new OS :(
    Very bad.

    is that because of your slow upload speed ? takes me around 2 1/2hrs to reinstall os using their java KVM console + CentOS netinstall iso method

    IPMI didn't work for me.
    Don't know why.
    Maybe becuase of slow upload speed.
    Stock on Welcome Centos Green screen.

    What I mean by reloading OS on versaweb takes days because I requested them to re-install for me, and they said it's in queue for the technician to do it ASAP.
    Until now the server is still not yet re-installed.
    It's almost 10 hours.

    oh i see... well it's expected given the price you pay :)

    Only you can decide if the faster Las Vegas west coast location is worth it for the price and response time to support :)

    I find SoYouStart support is much better and fast response to me.
    SYS support is very nice people, not arrogant like Versaweb.
    As I encounter this morning.

    Well as I said Versaweb is truly unmanaged provider - you will not get any help for using their Java KVM console/IPMI as I experienced. You're on your own.

    Yeah I expect that, but I don't like a support/owner being an arrogant.
    I mean it's Versaweb - About Us
    Don Reed who talks something I don't like.

    On their page they said their support is 24/7 which I don't think it's true.
    It's almost 10 hours now but still I don't receive an update regarding the server.

    ok... yeah they're not fast for replies.. can live with it for the price of what I get server specs wise. Easily cost me 3x to 4x times the cost for same specs west coast USA based server :)

    I will wait for the server to reload.
    I guess it will be done next 6 to 8 hours.
    cause it's 2AM in Las Vegas now.
