I just help my friend use Centminmod from Cpanel based server.
Almost everything works but this thing seems not correct:

I'm have a basic knowledge on VBulletin 4 only so I have no idea how to fix this.
    Hopefully some can advice? Thanks!

This server is using PHP 5.4.45 by the way.

    Thanks!

I've taken this backup on Live Forum running, with 13GB SQL file dump.
    Maybe that will also affect?

you need all the vb files from old server too not just sql file as it doesn't contain everything

or try rebuilding the language file

As far as I know I have all the files, except for attachments folder which is 59GB (currently rsync transferred 47GB now).

and the owner can't wait to try Linode server for his Live Forum.
    We migrated now :D
Thought still off peak right now (2,500 users online last 15 minutes) but it runs very well compare to the previous overkill hardware specs on Hivelocity.
    Old server:
    Cpanel/Apache - Dual Octo-Core E5-2650, 128GB RAM, 8 x 480GB Intel 520 series SSD RAID 10
    Mysql - Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz

2-4K visitors is just for low peak time :(
Owner said that his forum sometimes peak up to 40K-45K visitors every 15 minutes. Wohh!

I think 32GB Linode alone is not enough.
This is really big challenge to me.

1st step in optimisation is understanding your normal + peak visitor usage loads (not users but usage) ;)
