502 Bad Gateway error after moving site to new host

    I am getting 502 Bad Gateway error.

    On restarting php-fpm i get and error, rest all module restarts without any error.

    both old and new servers using same version of centmin mod ? nginx and php-fpm ? try recompile nginx and php-fpm on new server via centmin.sh menu option 4 and 5 respectively

    When you create a new nginx vhost domain via centmin.sh menu option 2 or menu option 22 or via /usr/bin/nv cli command line, you will create the Nginx vhost files and directories. You will get an outputted the path location where it will create the domain name's vhost conf file named newdomain.com.conf (and newdomain.com.ssl.conf if you selected yes to self signed SSL)
    • Nginx vhost conf path will be at /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/newdomain.com.conf
    • Nginx HTTP/2 SSL vhost conf path will be at /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/newdomain.com.ssl.conf
    • Nginx Self-Signed SSL Certificate Directory at /usr/local/nginx/conf/ssl/newdomain.com
    • Vhost public web root will be at /home/nginx/domains/newdomain.com/public
    • Vhost log directory will be at /home/nginx/domains/newdomain.com/log
    Please post the contents of /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/newdomain.com.conf and if applicable /usr/local/nginx/conf/conf.d/newdomain.com.ssl.conf wrapped in CODE tags (outlined at How to use forum BBCODE code tags)

    old server had cent OS 6
    new one have Cent OS7

    PHP version installed is same.

    recompiled twice via option 4 and 5, still getting same error

    still need info requested also did you copy over /usr/local/nginx/conf and /usr/local/nginx/conf.d contents ? as centos 6 and 7 may have some differences i.e. centos 7 php-fpm now uses systemd instead of init.d service file so depending how you customised php-fpm settings on old server, you might have brought over incompatible changes

    Issue is solve now, please forgive this basic coder for disturbing.

    i installed phpmyadmin which i uninstalled now and website is working back.

    is there any way to know, if any file had got damaged so that, i can resetup the hole thing again from my old live server.

    yup clue was
    related to centos 7 change to using php-fpm systemd service instead of init.d, phpmyadmin php-fpm unix sockets isn't properly working in php-fpm systemd setup - so uninstall phpmyadmin and update phpmyadmin.sh script to latest one / redownload https://centminmod.com/addon_phpmyadmin.html and install phpmyadmin.sh again if you need it, updated script changes php-fpm for phpmyadmin to use php-fpm systemd setup

    Thank you for the Support and your wonderful articles which helped me a lot during past years.

    There is still a lot which need to be learnt and peoples wont try unless they get caught in troubles.

    Patience and reading each line posted by you is important.

    I started with installation of centminmod on new server by going to installation guide and copy pasted the first line of code which was for stable version and after that till its install my mind was wondering with to find solutions for installation of beta version.

    This is why i love centminmod, because everything is there but choice is ours, if do type wrong command, we definitely gonna land in troubles.

    Soon in Coming year will try my level best to support the centminmod.
