    Should we run this manually?
    Code:
    /usr/local/src/centminmod/tools/setio.sh set
    Restart MariaDB after that?

Is the new formula producing higher values or lower in general cases?

I got confused from the old and new calculation formula....

In my case i am getting much lower values:

    Code:
    Variable_name Value
    innodb_io_capacity 2900
    innodb_io_capacity_max 5800
    new value:

    Code:
    Variable_name Value
    innodb_io_capacity 2000
    innodb_io_capacity_max 3333

For innodb_io_capacity/max, I think for you to have an accurate result...
Stop all other services like Nginx/PHP/Redis/Memcached except MariaDB then run that script so no other activity on the Disk.

It's meant to produce lower values on new formula as intended :) Too high values cause excessive InnoDB page flushing.

I thought that the higher number there the higher performance we will get....

too high = not too good, too low = not too good :)

probably could lower it some more
