- for EL8 & EL9 for initial install disable Nginx's LTO usage to speed up first time nginx installs and opt to only use LTO conditionally for subsequent Nginx recompiles via centmin.sh menu option 4 which can additionally leverage ccache compiler caching to keep compile times reasonable
