- these cpus have a higher clock frequency of 3.0-3.2Ghz when less than 12 cpu cores are in use compared to when more than 12 cpu cores are used which downclocks between 2.55Ghz, 2.80Ghz and 2.70Ghz. The higher cpu clocks given the number of cpu cores used at 12 would probably be faster than many cpu cores at much lower cpu clocks.
