Well, I threw the dart at Invision and it appears that everyone is happy and anxious after all, now that our Dev site is up and running. Folks can be funny like that can't they.... difficult one minute and happy as a Lark the next. :)

    Pros for me:
    • IPS runs faster than I expected. Its quite speedy once caching is configured, running on a bare metal Centmin Mod LEMP stack behind a Cloudflare Pro plan.
    • Domain & transactional email services were very quick & easy to setup. I chose Amazon SES (w/SNS notifications + Cloudwatch alerts) for transactional mail alongside free Yandex Domain mail services which allows unlimited number of domains (w/1000 inboxes each) and works quite well with IMAP/POP desktop email clients. Email is robust and speedy all around... and protects the server IP from being leaked behind CF.
    • Automated deduplicated backups using @eva2000 DBBackup & Borg backups scripts to remote locations are fast, efficient, encrypted, durable and reliable. I Love 'em! :)
    Pros for them:
    • Each may choose their own favorite Theme using the IPS Theme selector. No reason to whine and moan anymore. Money solves that problem. :)
    • Their new site will be speedy, secured and very durable thanks to Centmin Mod Lemp stack optimizations and features.
    • Enthusiasm is returning... got lotsa interested members helping out now. :)
We still have a lot of work to do before we'll be live, but it is finally happy work.

Thank you all for your excellent recommendations and guidance!

Thanks to you guys we are making good progress now! @Jimmy, I "borrowed" a few sniplets from a few scripts of yours, that I found in various threads here, thanks for sharing!

EDIT: Of course I "borrowed" several more sniplets from @eva2000 too. Thanks! :)
