Cannot download from github Bad Zip

Tried git clone method or curl installer method on 123.09beta01 thread's 1st post?

Try deleting the bad zip and redownloading again?

If install was within past 12 hrs there was a bug fix update so if you try again fresh install should be fine or update existing install via centmin.sh menu option 23 then exit centmin.sh and rerun centmin.sh menu option 10

 

Be sure to exit centmin.sh after menu option 23 update and then re-run centmin.sh menu options 5 and/or 10

Every centmin.sh menu option has a full server log created with time stamped file name at /root/centminlogs. You can check that specific php upgrade log for clues or copy and paste log contents and post to pastebin.com or gist.github.com for sharing.

Use this command to list all logs in /root/centminlogs in date descending order so most recent logs are at bottom

2 separate errors one for memcached server and one for memcached php extension related to 2 separate routines

would be fixed in latest 123.09beta01 otherwise also post memcached_reinstall.log log from /root/centminlogs

as to memcached php extension failed install need php upgrade log post to pastebin.com or gist.github.com for sharing

 

if you do a fresh os reload and install of 123.09beta01 later on, there is a new log added at /root/centminlogs/validcheck_downloads-TIMESTAMP.log to check validity and integrity of /svr-setup tarballs Beta Branch - add a source tarball integrity check output function 123.09beta01 | Centmin Mod Community

just an extra check to see if you have problems, could be specific to your vps i.e. faulty memory or disk or some form of corruption on the vps etc

 

ah problem is official site memcached.org version of download is not 100% valid see below screenshot the one at 1600KB is memcached.org downloaded one and below is one i redid a tar + gzip on



IIRC, this is not the first time memcached.org has served up invalid tarball

latest 123.09beta01 has added detection for such and redownloads from local centminmod.com mirror if detected as invalid Beta Branch - fallback checks if memcached routine tarballs extracted properly in 123.09beta01 | Centmin Mod Community

but for you that is separate issue from memcached php extension unable to load from php
