    Hi,

I want to install CentmionMOD on a VPS server i have with Time4VPS.eu hosting company.

They only provide normal OS images and then if the client wants the Minimal OS version it will have to run SSH command (that i think it justs removes packages) as you can see on the link bellow:
Make minimal OS - Time4VPS Community

They have instrctuions for all the OS, but i want to use CentOS 7. So can @eva2000 or any other user tell me if i should use the normal image or to run the Minimal OS instructions before installing CentminMOD?

    Thanks

minimal if they offer the image but from those instructions alot of the yum remove packages will be re-installed as Centmin Mod LEMP stack uses or requires them so pretty much just go with stand CentOS 7 image they offer.

no harm in doing that before Centmin Mod install, probably 50-80% of the removed ones will be re-added by Centmin Mod

So i think i will run the Minimal OS instrctions to try to leave my server as light and clean as possible.

Any other special recommendation to do in CentOS 7, before install CentminMOD?

    Thanks again
