Looks like 2 out 5 Vancouver GTMetrix servers have been updated https://twitter.com/gtmetrix/status/692159660254691329

Personally, haven't been able to git the new Chrome browsers on Vancouver GTMetrix so far heh

edit: hit Chrome 47 browser and it's very very slow compared to Chrome 36 - 29.2s vs 2.1s

same happens with Firefox 43 much slower than Firefox 39

I did one test today. I'm on 09beta01, CentOS 7.2, PHP 7.0.2 and latest Nginx 1.9.10. Perhaps you can use it as compare.

Yeah Firefox 39 and Chrome 36 are the older browsers. The ones are Firefox 43 and Chrome 47 both are much slower :(

So, if many users on forum are using older versions of browsers, then installation of Brotli wouldn't be a good idea?

not exactly, if browser doesn't support brotli it just falls back to regular gzip/zlib deflate like normal
