Tell centminmod update to not change specific files motd banner

I recently edited the bookmark.inc file to remove some of the links contained in it (whenever I update my server it lists too many and it looks very cluttered). Don't worry, I didn't forget the link to centminmod forums and Google plus page and I'm very appreciative of this software.

After making the changes, the file returned to its original state upon updating.

Is there a way we can perhaps disable centminmod from writing to certain files during an update?

 

Isn't that just upon login though?

I believe that after invoking centmin.sh git update it shows the output of bookmark.inc after checking for yum updates regardless of variables in persistent config
