   Is there and where any log file enabled by default that i can view the Joins performed without indexes ?
   
   If not how can i enable it?

   need to read mysql documentation for logging at MySQL :: MySQL 5.5 Reference Manual :: 5.2 MySQL Server Logs particularly slow query logging
   
   in fact all answers are in official manual MySQL :: MySQL 5.5 Reference Manual
