Hetzner Cloud is more powerful and cheaper :)
I have SSDNodes for almost 2 years, at first it was great, now it is just getting slower and slower. I will probably going to renew it for one more year to host all the small sites, the price is hard to beat. But deff don't recommend it for your main sites.
Yeah Hetzner's performance to price ratio is very good if the location suits your web site's audience. Especially Hetzner's new AMD EPYC VPS have a good per cpu core pricing. I consider any VPS with US$10/cpu core per month or better pricing to excellent value (if the cpu performs well). I wouldn't use ssdnodes for anything other than test sites i.e. learning how to use Centmin Mod on a test VPS with a test site Guide to learning more about Centmin Mod. But given @Jimmy reported ssdnode performance, even that might be a poor choice for learning Centmin Mod. For a test VPS, Hetzner's new AMD EPYC standard VPS like CPX11 with 2 cpu cores, 2GB ram and 40GB disk and 20TB bandwidth for 3.49 EURO/month is hard to beat.
I guess you mean impossible to beat I'm moving almost all my site to them, VPS and ROOT servers. Specially this: https://www.hetzner.com/sb?search=NVMe&price_from=0&price_to=40
I really like Hetzner, the price is really low with good spec, the only problem is that their locations doesn't work for me. And in my country, most of the providers use old hardware with a price tag of premium hardware.
