    yup you can do it that way

    or even do it from DNS level, some providers like namecheap or internet.bs have feature to redirect any hostname to specific urls - url forwarding

    or via nginx plenty of guides via google Let me google that for you ;) Which you add to vhost for kb.mydomain.com
