Email i don't receive email on /var/spool/mail/root

    Hello

    I have problem on my server, i don't receive any email on
    /var/spool/mail/root

    the last email received was in 18th January 2018

    i have tried to add /root/.forward and write my email but i still don't reveive email on /var/spool/mail/root and my email account


    Please fill in any relevant information that applies to you:
    • CentOS Version: i.e. CentOS 6.9 64bit
    • Centmin Mod Version Installed: 123.09beta01
    • Nginx Version Installed: i.e. 1.12.2
    • PHP Version Installed: 5.6.30
    • MariaDB MySQL Version Installed:10.1.21
    • When was last time updated Centmin Mod code base ? :today
    • Persistent Config: Do you have any persistent config file options set in /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc ? You can check via this command:

      cat /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc
      No

    checked to see if postfix is working ?

    can you send out emails via server ? via SSH command replacing your@gmail.com with an email account you can check
    Code (Text):
    echo "mail-test" | mail -s "mail-tester" your@gmail.com

    then check your inbox and spam box for mail-tester subject email

    there's problem then restart postfix and ensure it's set to start up on reboot

chkconfig postfix on
