I ran my site through https://www.webpagetest.org and scored an F on Compress Images

    Code:
    Compress Images: 55/100
1,023.9 KB total in images, target size = 560.2 KB - potential savings = 463.6 KB

    FAILED - (917.3 KB, compressed = 453.7 KB - savings of 463.6 KB) - https://nitromater.com/styles/xenfocus/dimension/backgrounds/pomona.jpg?v=1
    How would I improve this?

    Thanks,
    Itworx4me

    Hello @eva2000
I was able to get my compress image rating to an A now with your link above. I have A's on all tests except for cache static content I scored a B. I ran your site through the test and you scored the same thing for cache static content. https://www.webpagetest.org/perform...59f36685bcb976dd54&run=1#cache_static_content

Anyway to get this to an A for my site???

    Thanks,
    Itworx4me

You can't control cached images for 3rd party domains not under your control so yes B rating is due to short cache time for 3rd party domains i.e. google analytics and adsense
