    FYI Reliablesite.net now has Core i7 6700K Skylake servers with base 4.0Ghz and 4.2Ghz Turbo boost !

    if anyone does get one, be sure to test beta installer and post the installation times

    Code:
    curl -O https://centminmod.com/betainstaller.sh && chmod 0700 betainstaller.sh && bash betainstaller.sh
    fastest i've installed is 620 seconds.. 4.0Ghz clock speed might be faster :)

    ReliableSite user myself.
    Got an E3-1230V3 w/ 2 SSD's in RAID1 and 16GB Ram at a nice discounted price. Awesome company, love their custom server panel.

    That sucks. How can Facebook block DDoS attacks and OVH can't?

    no idea of size of Facebook's datacenter capacity but this 2 yr old article shows they design their fabric switches which each support multiple pods capable of 7.68Tbps connectivity to the backbone Introducing data center fabric, the next-generation Facebook data center network | Engineering Blog | Facebook Code | Facebook Maybe more insights in their infrastructure tagged posts at Engineering Blog | Facebook Code | Facebook and networking Engineering Blog | Facebook Code | Facebook sections.

    Also prior to this attack, i think largest ever DDOS attack was in the high 600 Gbps range. This for OVH was 1100+ Gbps range.

    Lots of work, mostly in the advertising and marketing area these days. Servers run themselves at this point. :)

    Actually, Cloudflare has made my life incredibly easy when it comes to managing servers, ssl and spam. We have all of our sites set to High on Cloudflare for security, all SSL is run through them and I have a nice custom LEMP setup for all new servers that makes everything we need to run PHP applications cake.

    Times have changed so much since I started doing this 13 years ago. /endofftopic
