Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9 is available.
Biggest change is maybe that RHEL 7 is in Maintenance Support 2 Phase, now.

Which means that new functionality and new hardware enablement are not planned for availability anymore.

I.e. only security and critical updates.

Looks like due to impact of Covid, Redhat is giving RHEL 7 folks an extra 4yrs of support to extend the EOL (end of life) date for RHEL 7 from June 30, 2024 to July 1, 2028 Announcing up to 4 years of Extended Life Cycle Support (ELS) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

CentOS 7 EOL is June 30, 2024 next year, but given RHEL's moves to cut off their RHEL sources to downstream clones, I doubt CentOS 7 will get this.

    Very short answer no.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Extended Life Cycle Support (ELS) is a paid service, subscription
or add-on, whatever you want to call it.
