@eva2000 The 7.6 release seems to be a bug fix and enchantment release.
No new big features like Gnome Desktop 3.26 in RHEL 7.5, which is good in my view.
7.6 makes his appearance and first steps for mission critical which is also good in my view.

Yes CentOS is once again slow.

What I have read on the Twitter channel of CentOS's team leader is that the unofficial ARM port is synchronous with the rest.
So once again a delayed release for absolutely ............ nothing.

As far as I am concerned, that should be the first thing that IBM throws out.
Exit: CentOS unofficial 32 bit and unofficial arm.

Although I still think that the end of CentOS is in sight. It adds 0.0 value and only costs money when giving away the otherwise paid flagship for free (with just another logo) and keep a whole team at work, repeating the work (rebuilding soure packages) of team Red Hat.

Lets hope Centos does not get shutdown. Although the community will always find a solution.

To be ahead of the events surrounding CentOS and to keep everything under control.
I am running a few farms here on OL 7.6.

There are also advantages and disadvantages to OL.

Personally: CentOS has changed too far from software-source rebuilder to a whole team with its own projects and initiatives.
Ideally, they only rebuild the source and remove the trademarks to be 100% replicated and compatible but nothing more.
