As far as I know centminmod is compatible with:

    CentOS 6
    CentOS 7
    Oracle Linux 6

What OS would you recommend the best and why?
(Please disregard Oracle Linux 6 subscription price for this question)

Is the "Unbreakable Kernel" and other fancy stuff of Oracle Linux 6 good?

    Cheers! :p

CentOS 6 and 7 these days, haven't tested Oracle Linux 6 much in a long time and only reason I did was it had 3.8 linux kernel instead of CentOS 6's 2.6.32 kernel. But with CentOS 7 out now with 3.10 kernel, there is no reason to use Oracle Linux 6 :)

    FYI, OL6 is still free.

    However, these days it's easy decision >1GB memory = CentOS 7 or <1GB memory = CentOS 6.
