SSL subdomain staging SSL with letsencrypt

Hi,

Ive setup a wordpress vhost on a subdomain on a server ip other than the primary domain which has Letsencrypt certificate already.

Is it possible firstly to setup a second certificate on a subdomain on another server ip?

If not how would I remove settings of the self cert SSL to get it running again just on standard HTTP?

Sure. Of course I can.

Say you have the main site with a letsencrypt SSL on it at https://domain.com on IP 192.123.0.1. But you then fire up a server on 192.123.0.2 for staging.domain.com. I would like to have HTTPS on that staging.domain.com. I tried a self cert via the WP basic but I am having trouble getting any access via my browsers to it.

If I cannot have valid HTTPS on that server how would I go back to rolling back the auto 301 redirect in nginx to just handle staging.domain.com with standard HTTP? If that is the simpler solution I would be happy just to go that route.
