Install Problem with NTPD after install

On db server check if web server ip is blocked or allowed by grep search of CSF firewall
Code (Text):
csf -g webserver_ipaddress
what output do you get ?

also how are you editing the /etc/csf/csf.allow file ? vim, nano or vi ?

that was it, the IP was banned for some reason. used :
CSF Firewall - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS

csf -dr ISPIPADDRRESS

Centmin Mod CSF Firewall rate limits pings so probably could be related to that.

Yes...whenever I run ping tests to benchmark various CDNs I have to disable CSF because it blocks most of the pings
