Troubleshooting Initial Install

To troubleshoot initial installation, you need to check the initial install log at /root/centminlogs. You can see full details at How to troubleshoot Centmin Mod initial install issues

 

if it's just ftp you can not access make sure ftp passive mode + ftp SSL is selected - pure-ftpd is setup to connect only via ftp with SSL Pure-FTPD Virtual FTP Users - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS

 

gcloud i am assuming you mean Google Cloud ? I haven't used it myself but seems they have an internal firewall you may need to configure to allow outside access to your server and ports Networking and Firewalls - Compute Engine — Google Cloud Platform

you might want to try a VPS with a provider that is know to work with Centmin Mod LEMP stack

For Google Compute Cloud you may need to whitelist Centmin Mod pure-ftpd passive port range like outlined at vsftpd - Can't FTP into Google Compute Engine instance using Debian - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange part about "Google Developers Console, under Networking, Firewall rules" only ignore the vsftpd stuff mentioned

FYI, for 123.08 stable centmin mod ftp passive port range is 3000 to 3050 and for 123.09 beta01 ftp passive port range is 30001 to 50011 (info added to centminmod.com/ftp.html)

 

Unfortunately, I haven't tried Google Cloud for Centmin Mod.. it's not possible for me to test every web host out there
