    ah nice BuyVM slices are definitely per cpu, quite fast and that time for 1 cpu is what other vps providers might get for 2+ cpus :)

    The new Platinum series is really a step up against the E5 series as the benchmarks shows above. I encourage anyone who is running an High-CPU droplet with E5 cpu to deploy on Platinum! It's a roulette game I guess, so, deploy a new droplet and restart the process until you find the right CPU.

    sweet finally some Xeon Scalable benchmarks - thanks !

    yeah high cpu instances' 20GB is not enough as per min or recommended disk space outlined at Centmin Mod LEMP Stack Install Nginx on CentOS so need to use DO's block storage to expand disk space.

    oooh that's fast :)

    woah, i knew Xeon Scalable cpus would be fast, but for 2 cpu cores Xeon Platinum 8168 to achieve 677 seconds is crazy fast :D

    about right for 1 cpu/thread server on Vultr - which location as geography matters as alot of download links maybe USA centric

    hmm which OVH region/data center is this - looks like maybe server timezone was off when initial install started and hence negative time which I thought i fixed in latest 123.09beta01 installer (by using UTC time for all timing calculations).

    I see, that should be fine as my OVH server is in BHS too. Oh well looks good for the other sub times in the output anyway.

    might be related to the servers timezone i think , since i've split that server into a few different vps's ( win / linux ) haven't really looked at the timezone setting.
