Heavy custom_config.inc, but PHP PGO was deferred until later. I cheated a bit... numerous tweaks + Elrepo kernel were done before the install.

 

WoW and they have Singapore server too.
But not sure if it's good or bad, they are using telstraglobal singapore.
Which add 40ms+ to my country.

 

@rdan they use several 10gbps providers in SG, but have no 100gbps backbone so yeah, it looks like their Singapore DC could use some improvements. :-(

The price is decent tho, ehh?

After almost a month how was the server with you?
I'm tempted to purchase it by December .

 

@rdan , I like it a lot so far, but I have not put it to work yet. We are still working in our staging site... we may go live around December 1st.
I moved from Phoenix to the Chicago location shortly after the server was provisioned to be close to Cloudflare edge. I also upgraded the RAM (was a free Halloween offer at PhoenixNap w/one year commitment) to 64 GB and added a 960 GB Intel SSD second drive. Total monthly cost is now USD $114.99. I have added Redis server and Elasticsearch, the usual 5.x Kernel/Governer/TCP tweaks... Performance has been very good so far considering its a cheap bare metal.

EDIT: Ask them to toss in the 64GB RAM upgrade... they're probably gonna get around to offering that to you anyway, sooner or later...

 

Just asked PhoenixNAP to get a discount if pay upfront for 2 years. It seems to be interesting as they will have São Paulo included in the near further and the most parts that others don't have. Unlimited Bandwidth, all these options they offer look great. And main AMSTERDAM.

All for their Bare Metal Machines.
