Picking a new server company

    I've been using linode for a time, three different servers + elastic search setup. However, I'm thinking of consolidating. I'm super busy due to my new job, so reliability, and looking to have someone look after my server setup makes sense. Currently I'm paying $130 for the server setup....and I'm thinking of looking elsewhere...but most folks don't offer nginx!

    Any recommendations? Do folks offer monitoring service for CentminMod? I had previous experience with a user on this forum, but due to him disappearing, I will never use him again.

    dedicated ultimately depends on your requirements including geographic location which is a big one for me - my preference is West Coast USA which is smack bang in middle of Asia and Europe :)

    I've really wanted to do AWS....I dunno why...but I think it would be fun.
    since most of my folks are in the US...I'd probably go with either NY, FL, or TX based services...

    Linode has been great for me, I just with I had more time, so management is very attractive.

    If Matt doesn't work out for you, I'd do this aswell. But one thing to note, I live in germany so you'd have to account for time difference.

    I've heard many a great review on @Matt's work, especially with setting up servers with Centminmod and tuning it to get maximum performance from your machine. I'm currently using his shared hosting, but if I decide to up to a VPS again, I'd get him in a heartbeat. Just my opinion, so I don't think you'd go wrong with him as your sysadmin.
