    This may seem good news... well, its not. NIXstats is out of beta and its not free anymore. Everyone that was using the beta have now 7 days of trial.

    yeah good and bad news !

    I currently am using 24 monitors on free beta, so either have to drop down to 5 or pay heh

    All these monitor services have become very expensive in recent times.
    Totally unnecessary.

    You can create your own monitor with: Zabbix
    Lowend VPS (Black friday), Zabbix, Done!

    Yeah can get expensive. I misread the monitor quota as server quota so yes will be expensive for me too. Other monitoring alternatives have been discussed at Sysadmin - monitoring and alert tools?

    What do you suggest people use for monitoring there server NIXstats?? or something else? Only going to be for one server.

    I'm using amplify and nixstats. I've used a few others as we all have.

    I normally run two at once to avoid false positives. I ran data dog for a while and that had me up and down lots, as in box is down when I was ssh'd into it.

    Nixstats, I've paid for the founders plan, it's enough and I've rarely had a duff alert. I also have a few boxes so free one server plans don't cover me and if I have too many I forget what is what ;)

    What about the price? Could only find the free, pro and business plan.
